The Road to Madrid
“The Road to Madrid” is a funny infographic that we made for VISup just before the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2010 FINAL in Madrid, between FC Inter and Bayern Munchen.
We visualized all the football data of all the matches that Inter and Bayern had played to reach the final (thanks to a great dataset provided by VISup); the goal was to show differences and similarity between the two “roads to Madrid” using the power of all the sensible data (from passes to shots on target, from the red cards to the hitmap of the teams’ way of playing)
We decide to design it as it was a great Stadium to emphasize the contest.
